How can I export images from PDF to Microsoft Word without losing image resolution?

It is not working with the screenshot tool!

You can't if you have Adobe Acrobat Reader. Yes, the screenshot tool may lower resolution. You could do it with some of the pre-press tools in the full version of Acrobat.
