When I want to mark something in Pdf it switches all the time to the function "to select". It is very annoying, is there a way to turn it of so that i can use the function "to mark" constant without it switching all the time?

@Maarten32900858j2mr

Can you clarify what you are doing when you say "mark? Do you mean Mark for Redaction or Commenting with the Markup tools or something else? Are you using Acrobat or Photoshop?

Im using Adobe Acrobat Reader and the function that is turned on in the images switches after I use it once to this function:

And that is what I don't want because I want to use the other function further.

Hi @Maarten32900858j2mr

You posted to the Photoshop forum — I'll move your post to Adobe Acrobat Reader for you.

It also appears that you may be using the New Experience, which can be disabled.

  • To disable the new experience,
    • Windows: Click the hamburger menu ( 3 lines ) at the upper left corner and choose Disable new Acrobat.
    • macOS: Go to View > Disable new Acrobat.

Details about the New Experience here:
