I mark student scripts. I frequently add a comment, then find that it would be more relevant a page further down. Currently I have to cut and paste the text to a new comment. Then delete the redundant one.
Is there a way to capture the comment box and move it somewhere else?

You can drag a comment, but not across pages. The only other way of doing it is by using a custom-made script, which will allow you to select one (or more) comments, run the script, enter a new page number and then they will be moved to that page.

Thank you
I was having considerable problems about dragging a comment at all recently. But I have just discovered that holding down the mouse button then dragging does not now work - it seems to create a new comment on top of the old one. The method that works is to select an existing comment by clicking the mouse, moving the cursor to the new position, then clicking again. This works across page breaks. Has the method changed recently?
Your proposal for creating a script takes me into the field of re-programing Acrobat. I haven't got the brain power, or time, to do that for more than 1 program, and I usually have at least 5 programs open at any one time.
