Opening PDF with parameters

New Here ,
Nov 14, 2018 Nov 14, 2018

I am using Acrobat Reader DC in my IE. I need to open it with parameters which allow me to hide all panels except top toolbar. Previously it was working fine with those parameters:

>#navpanes=0&toolbar=1

But after latest updates it seems like right panel is treated as a toolbar, and is always visible when toolbar is set to 1. Is there any way to hide TaskPane using parameters?

I can't set it in app preferences because I need to make sure that my document will be opened on every PC without that panel and I can't change it on every PC.

Only document which I found is

https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/AcrobatDC_pdf_open_parameters.pdf

but it is from 2015, and I think it is not up to date.

Unfortunately, yes, that's the case. And considering that this feature is not supported almost anywhere I don't expect it to be updated, either.

The parameters document hasn't changed in about 15 years; that's all there is.

So there is no way to hide only right panel? Parameters did not change but logic has been changed many times, and now we are stuck with panel which takes too much space on workspace

Adobe have not been enthusiastic about giving ways to hide this panel. I believe it is seen as a core marketing tool. Unfortunately without commercialisation, there won’t be a free Reader.
