Paper size variation

New Here ,
Oct 05, 2017 Oct 05, 2017

We have Acrobat Reader DC version 2017.012.20098 on a WindowsServer2008R2 that is accessed from client PCs through RDP clients.

Users print to local printers through "printer redirect".

We have a problem with printing the same PDF-file from different sessions. On one session (A) the file is printed on A4 paper to a Xerox printer. On the other session (B), the same file is not printed, because Acrobat Reader insists on printing to Letter format to another Xerox printer.

Both printers are set up with A4. None of the printers are set up with Letter format.

The session B (with the problem) has been restarted. So has the client PC B.

Today I signed onto session B from PC A. Printer redirect was automatically updated so that session B now would print to PC As printer. However, Acrobat Reader still insist to print the file to Letter paper.

We have tried to use [Page Setup]. On session A the Size is A4. On session B, the size is empty. The Letter size is displayed just above the preview pane in the Print dialog window.

All PDF-files are printed to Letter format on session B.

Suggestion of how to change  the paper size on session B is highly appreciated.

Regards,
Hans Henrik

Compare carefully all options in the print dialog and subdialogs. One which is particularly interesting is the option "Choose paper source by PDF page size" but there may be other things.
