PDF created date is not current date when saved

Recently all newly created pdf files saved show a created date of _ _ 2010. Does not show current date created, modified etc. Why it use to???????

I am having the same issue, all docs scanned in or pdf printed are showing date created as 11/18/2007

How do you create the PDFs? By which we mean - exactly what app do you use to create the PDF? Acrobat Reader doesn't create PDFs, so the chances are the "other" app is doing something wrong. We'd like to help track it down.
