Hi,
I do have a PDF files that I can open properly with Microsoft Edge but when I try to open it with Adobe reader I get a blank page and show no information.
This is one-page file, but a quite big one (contains architecture design).
what could be the problem? how can I open it with Adobe?
Thanks!

Hard to say without seeing an example of a file that does this but one guess would be, the pdf is a scanned image and you do not have "Show large images" enabled in Reader.
You can check by going here: Edit>Preferences>Page display>Page content and information. Make sure the box that says "Show large images" is checked.

I have this problem with 1099s I filled out in Edge. The employee's data is all there in Edge, but when I open the saved PDF in Adobe, the data is missing. (The rest of the 1099 form is there, though.)

Hello,
I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.
What happens when you try with the latest version of Acrobat Reader 24.005.20421 Optional update, Feb 24, 2025? Do you still get a blank PDF? Would it be possible to fill the PDF using the Acrobat Reader app and check? Please disable theProtected Mode security settings once for testing purposes, and check. Please enable the security settings after the testing.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Anand Sri.
