Hi Support,

using ADOBE ACROBAT DC

pdf files are printing inverted colors. text is white and background is black.

already checked on negative setting under print advanced and is not enabled.

accessibility document color options - replace document colors is not enabled and tried revering it manually, no change.

printer preview displays white background and black text.

repaired and updated the whole adobe dc software - no change on print results.

no issues printing from other software/sources.

how can we fix this?

Hi Nathanf,

As you have mentioned above, when you print the file the color of the document gets reverted.

Please check the color selected for the background and the text under the application preferences.

To check that, open the PDF and go to Edit menu > Preferences > Accessibility > Document color options.

Check if the right color is selected for the background and the text.

If not select the color you need and click OK to save the changes.

Then try to print the PDF and check if it works properly.

Let us know if the issue still persists.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Yes, we have tried this several times. And still did not resolve the issue.

Any other options?

Hi Nathanf,

Please try once to reset the preferences of the application and check if that helps.

You may refer the steps provided here How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.  to reset the preferences.

Then check if the document prints properly.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Meenakshi

I encountered that problem today. I ended up taking a screenshot and then printing that. It worked like a champ. I had to do pages one at a time, but I got the results I wanted.

Ken,

Good tip.

However, Adobe really needs to explain how to get this done right.
