PDF Won't Load or Pull Up

I have recently downloaded Adobe Reader, because it is necessary for me to have so that I can read files from a certain website. When I click on the pdf to view, using reader, nothing shows and the document is rather important. I need to know hy this is happening and what I can do to resolve the issue. PLEASE HELP!!!

Please confirm if it happens with all the files or any particular file and if there is any error message too that shows up.

Also, try the repair installation of the application from the Help menu within the application and see if it works fine.
