The same issue has happened when editing a document on two different devices and different browsers. I go to edit the file and the file just keeps on saying preparing file for editing. When I do edit a file and try to download is says it cannot find or create the font(I tried two different/separate fonts each time) and the file where edited ends up blank.

@harmon_7672 The issue of files getting stuck in "preparing for editing" and the subsequent font errors leading to blank edited files across different devices and browsers strongly suggests a problem with Adobe's online editing service or your Adobe account's synchronization. Hello! I was able to successfully download the desktop version, and also now the pdf loads quickly on the website version thankfully. I think the issue was since I didn't have premium, it would take much longer to load. Appreciate you for reaching out to help!

A possible solution is to first ensure you have a stable and reliable internet connection on both devices, as a slow or intermittent connection can disrupt the file preparation and saving processes. Next, try clearing your browser's history, cache and cookies on both devices, as outdated data can sometimes interfere with web applications. If the problem continues, attempt to edit and save a completely new, simple document with standard fonts (like Arial or Times New Roman) to see if the issue is specific to certain files or fonts. If the new document works, the original files might be corrupted, or the specific fonts you were using might not be fully supported or properly embedded within the online editing environment.
Honestly, I use a different approach. I would download the file to my computer and editing it using the desktop version of Adobe Acrobat (if you have a subscription) to see if the issues persist locally. Normally, when I use the desktop app, I have no issues at all (knock on wood!)

Hello. How do you use the desktop version to edit it? I have a desktop version with the subscription but can't seem to find how to edit the pdf.

Thanks, really appreiciate it! The only issue is I would rather use the browser one, but it takes so long to load the getting ready to edit thingy. Do you know of any way to fix that long loading?

Hi @roeen_3533,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing your feedback and observations.
Are the file(s) you are trying to edit in Acrobat Web scanned PDF documents or regular text-based documents? If the situation is unrelated to the cases I discussed, is it always taking a long time to load? Could you please share a video of the issue? We will discuss this with the product team.
In the meantime, you are already working on installing Acrobat on your machine. Let us know if you need any further assistance. I think @creative explorer, has made it very clear how to install Acrobat.
Best regards,
