printing problem

I am having trouble printing a pdf from Acrobat Reader. Whenever I click on the print icon, message "Acrobat quit unexpectedly "

What's your version of Acrobat Reader? What's your OS version? Does it happen with all files, or just some?

version 2018.009.20050 - not sure what OS version. I am able to print form other sources, just not this one document

So you are able to print other PDF files? If so, then that specific file is probably corrupt.
