Problem opening PDF's from multiple sources.

I am using Acrobat Reader DC, 18.009.20044, Windows 10 Home, Office 365.  My primary sources for opening PDF's are Outlook attachment, company server and hyperlink to company server from excel.

When I try to open two PDF's at the same time from excel and either of the other sources, the second PDF will not open.  I have to close the first PDF and open Reader at which time the second PDF will appear.

I have found when opening multiple PDF's directly from the company server and/or an Outlook attachment, I have no issues.  I am able to open as many PDF's as I like.  However, when I open a PDF from a hyperlink in excel, I am not able to open a second PDF from either the company server nor an Outlook attachment.  I get the same result in reverse order, opening a PDF from Outlook or directly from the server and then trying to open one from excel, will not work.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Well, if anyone else is having a similar problem, I finally got mine to work by opening Reader as an administrator.

A couple of things, I have turned off Protected Mode.

Here is the System Report from Reader DC:  I noticed the graphics card not being supported and have updated my driver with no improvement.

Hello! I'm having a similar issue. I can open multiple PDFs saved on my hard drive, but this doesn't work if I try to open from my local network. Oddly I can open multiple PDFs if I browse through Reader to find them, but not if I click on the file on Explorer. I'm about to switch to another PDF reader cause this is making me waste too much time. Running as an administrator hasn't solved the issue.
