Problem While Adobe Acrobat DC Error 1651

The latest update Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (21.001.20138) failed with Error Code 1651 Remarks "Windows Installer does not permit updating of managed advertised products. At least one feature of the product must be installed before applying the update.” while silent update of application

 

The application also not installed after reboot also. Please explain the cause and solution for this case so that we can fix this issue.

This Return Code 1651 error is occuring when we load Adobe DC Pro on computers at Cat.  Adobe has not provided any resolution of this issue for what should be the most simple and important element of customer service interaction for a software provider, which is successfully loading and installing their software on a computer.  It is unacceptable especially given the fees paid for this software.  As lawyers, we need accurate software to handle massive PDF documentation.  I am going to eliminate Adobe from our office because of this and find an alternative.  We cannot tolerate this anymore from Adobe.
