I uninstalled Adobe Reader DC from my computer 2 weeks ago, because there were some problems.. that also means it was restarted many times meanwhile. Now I downloaded the installation file again and when the installation is almost finished, it says "The new version has already been installed" X

Download and run the Acrobat cleaner tool found here: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Then download and install the newest Reader version form here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution
