Hi,
I know there have been other questions raising this issue, but is there a fix? ie - without disabling protection at startup.
It is very important that our audience (who may have an impairment) can use Reader's accessibility options.
Thank you
Paula

Hi Paulad93763527,
For this functionality to work, Adobe Reader must have a voice selected that you have installed in your system.
For the same, please try the steps below:
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks,

Hi Supriya,
I have been using this function for years, this is the first time I have had a problem. It works absolutely fine with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, so the voices must be installed on my system. it worked once this morning with Zira, but then stopped with any of the 3 voices.
Kind regards
Paula

Paulad93763527,
Please confirm if you checked it with other files too, or is it not working with a particular file.
Also, for testing purpose only, please check if it works fine after disabling the Protected mode and then you can enable it.
Thanks,
Supriya

Hi Supriya,
I have checked it with other files, which I know worked previously.
It works with Zira voice after disabling protected mode, but not David or Hazel. When I enable it Zira works, the others don't and then Zira doesn't work again after I have tried them.
Kind regards
Paula

Dear Supriya,
I found nothing relevant in the link you sent. My set up hasn't changed, it was working perfectly in November and December 2016.
My main issue is that I am trying to ensure accessibility for my Disabled audience. If they have the same problems how will they:
a. be able to receive information from me
b. find a solution to this problem if I can't?
Thank you for your time.
Paula
