Reader 24.002.21005 won't run on my windows 10

I'm not sure how to start a new discussion, but Reader new 24.002.21005 won't run on my windows 10.  No problem with 24.002.2 991, so I'll stay there, but interested in any help/explanation.

I did a system restore to previous resore point with 24.002.20991 version & it still works.  Set up new restore point & tried downloading 21005 again, but it won't run. Set up same as 20991 but won't run.  I guess I'll just stay with 21991?
