It takes a significant amount of time for my computer to save as it is searching for the appropriate files on my PC. I often have to cancel the save attempt and start all over again. Any ideas as to how to solve this issue?
Thanks.
Hi Chris
Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.
Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive, please download it to your computer first and then try again and check.
Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20117 (Win), 20112 (Mac) Installed.

Also, go to Edit (Win), Adobe Acrobat (Mac) > preferences > General > Uncheck 'Show online storage when saving file' and 'Show online storage when opening file' > Click OK and reboot the application and check.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply. I have the current version and I have unchecked those items mentioned. It seems to have made a difference. Thanks for your time.
