Whenever I scan a document and save it as a pdf, it saves it in a Sideways position. I click on "View" and Rotate it to the right, then Save again. However, when I open it up, it is back in the Sideways position. How do I save a pdf in the Upright position?
Thanks.
With the free Adobe Reader, you cannot save the positioning. The "view" position is for that session only and will reset.
Either use the full version of Acrobat to rotate the page rather than just the view or, look into your scanning software to find a setting that will scan them the way you want.

I'm using Adobe standard and it still doesn't save rotated.

In Acrobat Standard rotate the pages, don't rotate the view.

Acrobat Std. is a paid product with all the features available. In Acrobat Reader, there are some limitations as it's freeware.
As suggested, you can rotate the page instead of just rotating the Acrobat view. To rotate the Page, go to Tools>Organize Pages> Rotate and save the file.
