Since a few days i can't use the splet view function anymore. If I try to open a PDF on Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and another window at the same time, the Acrobat Reader automatically minimizes the Reader window.

How can I solve this problem?

Hi there

We are sorry for the trouble. As described the split view is not working.

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs that you try to open? Please try with a different file and check.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Adobe Acrobat Reader

A new version 20.009.20063 is now available for Acrobat/Reader DC. Please try to update the application to the new version. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer and check.

You may also try to reset the preferences to default as described (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792...) and see if that works.

Let us know how it goes

Hi Laura,

Thanks for trying out with the latest version of Acrobat Reader. Are you using the Full Screen Mode on your Mac machine? If yes, can you try once after exiting the full screen mode and then try again with split view.

Let us know in both cases.

With Regards,

Shreya Bhattacharya
