  1. Hi all. Please help. I'm an online college Proofreading student and I should have access to acrobats editing pdfs tool, for free. Except when I try to edit pdfs, it takes me to a payments page and nowhere further. Please help

Huh? Says who? Students with valid credentials can get a discount on Acrobat, but not use it for free.

You can add proofreading comments in the free Adobe reader, but to make changes to the copy, it's usually better to edit the original document and make a new pdf.
