There was a problem during reading of this document Error 18

Hi all,

I'm facing this error while trying to open some pdf files. I can open these pdf/a with word or even with chrome/explorer without problems.

When I open it with adobe, it causes this error.

With some other softwares for pdf handling I can open it.

The error, translated, says "Error during page processing. There was a problem during reading of this document (18).

What can I check in configurations?

I am facing this error with every computer I'm trying, with the version that ends with 20071 or 20074. No more updates avaiable.

Please advise

Already tried to uninstall and reinstall adobe and to repair it.

Hi demandonio,

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are getting error 18 when opening pdf in reader, is that correct?

Try uninstalling Reader with Acrobat/Reader cleaner and try installing again: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
