Unable to view a PDF file neither on safari nor on Chrome

Hi.

When I am clicking on some PDF links it shows the below message. Downloaded the updated version but still cannot open.

The files in which you are experiencing this problem, where exactly they are saved? As you have already checked the updates and it didn't fix.

You may try the solution suggested in- I can't access some of my PDF files because they haven't been replaced with the proper documents

Also, check Troubleshoot viewing PDF files on the web

In addition- May refer to the help document- PDF won’t display. Please wait … for detailed description.

Let us know if it doesn't work.

File number two is the one that is not opening. others are ok.

2.Document Checklist (IMM 5644) (PDF, 2.19 MB)

Works for me (but not the second link you posted) in Chrome.

Click on the first link. I get

Application to get, renew or replace a Permanent Resident Card (PR Card)

In there, right click on Document Checklist and choose Save Link as...


Save the file. I get IMM4644E.pdf.

Open the file in Reader. DON'T DOUBLE CLICK OR OPEN IT FROM CHROME. It must open in Reader. I see a checklist.

Right-click on the file links, save the file then open it within Reader using File>Open.

Both of those browsers are probably using their own pdf viewer. Mostly they do alright but if it's a form you are trying to open, they fail.
