Using math symbols in comments

Is it possible  to use math symbols ( square root symbol, summation symbol, etc.) in comments in Adobe reader.

If I understand your query correctly, you are willing to use Square root symbol, Summation symbol while commenting on pdf?

If yes, then what you are looking for, can not be achieved. This functionality isn't available within the app directly.

This might be possible to get it done with some script and for which we don't have expertise.

You can use the symbols which are available in the font.
