The information may be confusingly presented, it often is. Here are some key things you need to know. I'm assuming you're interested in the trial of Acrobat Pro, not Photoshop or anything else.

1. Acrobat Reader is free and Acrobat Pro comes on subscription or trial.

2. There are also add-ons for Acrobat Reader such as ExportPDF or PDF Pack.

3. Acrobat Pro is a SEPARATE APP. The biggest problem we see is people who try it or buy it but don't USE it, so they keep running Acrobat Reader and don't get

To me an offer of a free trial without explanations and an ad requiring a subscription is not at all transparent and appears meaningless
