I tried uninstall and reinstall for a few time, the problem still persist.

I checked all the graphic setting about the adobe DC viewer and they are in the factory setting.

One thing worth a little bit more noticable is when I changed to hand tool and started scrolling down to the next page, the viewer works well.

Have anyone seen this situation before?

Appreciate for any help!!

I would be very interested in learning more about this issue as well. I have a brand new Acer Aspire and I have almost the exact same issues when trying to open a document to view/edit.

Problem solved by last night for few hours struggled. The main reason I found was the automatic update for War Thunder (A PC game) has triggered this error. I suspect it may change some graphic setting on the background which can cause the improper viewing in DC viewer. Everything was back to normal after I uninstalled the game.

So far, I don't think it is an issue on Pdf viewer setting. Please try to suspect more on automatic update for other program.

Here are a few ideas I can think of (not in order of preference):

  • Verify if this is happening with just one file or all PDF files.

  • If it is just one file doing that, check how it behaves when it is opened in another computer using a different OS, like Windows 8 or 7, for example.

  • Update the GPU driver but not from the automatic updates. Download the latest driver for your graphics card driver from the device manufacturer support website

  • If need to uninstall and reinstall use the recommended steps by the graphics card vendor

  • If the driver provides you with a catalyst application use it to configure and adjust the recommended resolution settings for your screen, and compare with windows native settings for the monitor.

  • If using Windows 10 goto settings and make sure the PC is not set in Tablet Mode; alternatively, check in Adobe Acrobat preferences if there are any accessibility settings that need to be turned off,  and checking for software rendering settings, hardware acceleration settings, and such that may need to be manually modified.

  • Just for troubleshooting purposes, you can also disable or uninstall the Creative Cloud Desktop app and see how the program behaves without the CC App running in the background

  • Disable Data Execution Prevention (DEP) for all programs.

  • Using Start--->>Run--->> type in msconfig ,   deselect startup items and reboot.

See if the problem persists and post back if any crashes occur while troubleshooting the video card.
