Why can you no longer email a .pdf in 1 simple click? It now takes 3 STEPS! In the past you could click on the email icon and it immediately attached it to an email. Why would you ever change this causing people hours of lost time ands angst????

Hi Sandeep,
I would need to apply the fix above, but the link points to a 'Page not found':
could you please check and let me know the steps to have one-click email?
Many thanks for your help and best regards,

I too have this same issue. The envelope (mail) icon in Acrobat Reader was working perfectly before. Why did it change? It offerrs no additional value to end users. It should be set back to take users directly to the default Mail application as it did before. User do not need all of these unnecessary steps to the process of simply emailing a PDF to someone. If we want to share things differently, we can always go to File/Share for those.

If the solutions described above don't work for you, try this free script I've developed, that brings back the single-click send menu item to the application: http://try67.blogspot.com/2018/10/acrobat-reader-2019-quick-file-send.html
