Suddenly out of nowhere I am having trouble opening some pdf's. For example if I download a pdf from a website or an email some will work and others come up with an error message:

Adobe Reader could not open 'sb5989.zip' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

I am mostly downloading resources from an education site - and some work but some don't!

Can anyone help? Thank you

Generally, Zip files are self extracting. Double-click and it should open a window where you can drag the files inside it to your desktop or a different folder then open them from there.
