New Here ,
Nov 26, 2018 Nov 26, 2018

I have a subscription for Acrobat Pro DC. So far, I have got PCs with Microsoft system, but have now bought an Acer Chromebook. Can I still use my Acrobat Pro DC?

The simple answer is no. Chromebooks do not run either MacOS or Windows. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (or any other versions) only run on MacOS and Windows.

Thank you, Dov. That was a very clear answer. Hopefully, there will be versions for Android in the future.

The 2021 answer is yes, you can use the online verison of pro dc on your chromebook and it'll work just fine.

(Just want to drop this update here so the proper information is available.)

Just did a quick "install" on a Samsung Chromebook, took about 30 seconds from the time I loaded the page until I decided which link to click. Took the Acrobat DC tour, looks pretty much the same!

Hi @Robert26547696jprs,

Good to see that it helped you.

Just in case you want to use the application version of Acrobat and not the web version, you can install it through the store and work with your PDFs as you have been.

You may refer to the given link for more: The best way to view PDFs on a Chromebook (adobe.com)

Hope this helps.

-Souvik.
