Hello,

I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 and I have Adobe Acrobat app installed. When I open an e-mail with PDF, Exel, or Word attachment on it doesn't open directly. I have to open Adobe Acrobat app to search for the file there and to open it. I want the file to be open when it's downloaded. Haw can I do that?

Hi Gloriap3138619,

You can try the following steps to open pdf attachments directly in Adobe Acrobat-

Email

  1. Open the email with the PDF attachment.
  2. Tap Preview.
  3. When asked how to complete the action, choose Adobe Acrobat.
  4. Tap Always or Just Once.

Choose action using dialog

For more information you can also refer to the help document Acrobat Reader Help for Android: Opening PDFs

Let us know if that helps.

Hello,

I can't open my pdf files on my viber app. It says "The file appears unsupported or corrupted..." Do I need to get an app to support the adobe acrobat?

I used to easily open it. What's missing?

Thank you.
