Adobe Acrobat Update 18.09.13 Issues

We just released Acrobat Reader 18.12.00 to the App Store on December 14, 2018.

This release offers the new flattening option in Acrobat Settings > Preferences.

1. Sharing a flattened copy

You are right.  The "Share Flatten Copy" option is no longer available via the new Share feature in Acrobat 18.09.13 or later.   However, there is a way to generate a flattened copy in Acrobat.  Please take a look at this forum document.

2. Renaming a file

Would you please make sure that the file that you are trying to rename is closed?  Acrobat doesn't support the option to rename an open file.

From the Files > Locations, tap

• On This iPhone / On This iPad
• Document Cloud
• Dropbox

Example:  Locations > On This iPhone

1. Tap the More (…) button in the file browser.
2. Tap Rename from the menu.
3. Enter a new name in the Rename dialog.
4. Tap Rename button.

3. "Preview of the PDF if being forwarded via email is blank except for signatures"

The problem will be fixed once you flatten PDF documents containing form fields and/or annotations using the method described in #1 above.
