Adobe is converting Word to pdf

My Word files are automatically converted into pdf files. Sometimes I want just the Word file. How can I change it?

    Are you using

    • Adobe Acrobat Pro or
    • Adobe Acrobat Reader for Desktop or
    • Adobe Acrobat Reader for Mobile or
    • Adobe Acrobat Reader for Mobile (Beta)?

     

    Can you send one of the PDFs for us to examine? Either use the Insert Image button in a Reply window or send me a PM. I'd like to look at the Document Properties > Description and am not concerned with the actual content.

    You have given almost no information that we can use to assist you.

    • Acrobat Pro is only on desktop, not cell phones. What version do you have?
    • Is Microsoft Word on your phone or your desktop? What is the OS?
    • How are you saving your Word files?
    • You need to give us a sample of a Word document that got converted to PDF so we can inspect the properties. Where are these files? On your cell or on your computer?

     

     

    Please stop including your phone and email. Spammers will pick them up from the forum and start spamming you.

    As @jane-e already mentioned, there is no information or details to comment upon.

    I am adding my comments purely on assumptions based on your chosen board and the tag used.

     

    From the looks of it, you might have changed the default viewer for Word files to Acrobat Reader Mobile, which converts those files to PDF (but that, too, shall ask for a confirmation on launch)

     

    You might want to try the steps mentioned here to remove/clear default applications on Android: Set or clear default apps - Pixel Phone Help
