Hello,

I'm trying to access government forms from my android phone. I get an error when I try and open with Adobe stating "this form needs Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for Mac or Windows."

From what I understand, I can't edit the form on android, which is fine, but I can't even open to read the form so I can see what is required or that it's even the correct form. Is there any way to view them on android when they have this error on the Adobe app?

Hi @EmpathicOrchid

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

You are most likely trying to open a Dynamic XFA (XML Form Architecture) PDF. To view such pdf documents, we recommend you to download the file locally and open it either in Adobe Acrobat/ Reader.

Hope this information will help.

Regards

Amal

LATEST

Hi @EmpathicOrchid,

As already suggested by Amal and others, XFA or Dynamic Forms are not yet supported on the mobile version of Acrobat.

You can check the given thread here. The thread has a discussion on the same topic, which should clarify the subject more.

Thanks,

Souvik
