I was editing a document for over two hours. I was do focused that I neglected to save changes and was not set up for automatic iTunes back-up. The app shut down and none of my changes were saved. Is there any way to recover them?

Sorry for the delay in response.
As the application shut down and the changes were not saved, sorry to say it is not possible to recover them.
It is always suggested to save the changes continuously when working on PDFs.
