Can't open PDF from WhatsApp

Hello

Recently I can't open a pdf file on WhatsApp (it tells me the file couldn't

be accessed check the location or the network and try again).

Please help to solve this problem.

Users of Android 11 are facing this problem. MiUi users, they can turn off the MiUi optimization. It can be found developer mode. Problem solved for me.

When I turn ON MIUI optimization (at the end of developer options) - it help to me fix this problem

Users of Android 11 are facing this problem. MiUi users, they can turn off the MiUi optimization. It can be found developer mode. Problem solved for me.

Not all users of Android 11 have this issue, but nevertheless, your observation about turning off MiUi optimization via developer mode settings is highly relevant.

How do you ensble DM in Android 11?

Go to About Phone> MiUi Version

and tap 5 times on that, continuously. Developer Mode will be on.

Now search DM in settings,

It is present in ADDITIONAL SETTINGS option., At bottom.

I had the same issue, reinstalling whatsapp or pdf reader do not resolved the problem.

Here is what WORKS for me:

1. Install pdf reader, if you dont have one.

2. From File explorer, select any pdf file and change the default app to open to your pdf reader app.

3. Try opening pdf file from whatsapp again. It works for me.

Please check your watsapp is a special version?

If you have transferred your ios watsapp to android...

If so, backup your watsapp data to Google and uninstall the watsapp and install it from play store and restore data then try.

Please backup all your data before you perform action

Hi Madam

While I'm trying to open pdf file i cannot manage to open I'm getting messages.

This file cannot be assessed. Check your connection or make the file name shorter.

But same file i can manage to.open in another phone. What is the problem. Please help me.

Complain to Whatsapp.

Have you even read, understood, and accepted the terms under the new privacy policy update about retaining full services in your Whatsapp mobile app since Facebook partnered with Whatsapp? (partnered = owned !).

Not because a document file was created, exported or saved as a PDF it means it is Adobe's.

Let's say that in the case that you already have a Facebook user account, should you decide NOT to agree with the new policy update , OR, let's even saythat if you've refused to register an Facebook account for yourself (if you don't have one yet), then common sense dictates that, not because the Adobe Acrobat Mobile App handles PDF documents in your mobile devices it means that Acrobat is responsible for whatever features (which may be directly related to that new policy update), the Facebook-Whatsapp business decides to chop off from your device.

Did you at least went to the Whatsapp support page to take a look and see if these new policy changes will affect how to retain full functionality of your Whatsapp account and to avoid uninterrupted services?

The deadline of this new policy update was already planned for May 2021 so you may be past due.

In other words, in case you're still reading through these lines with a stupid expression in your face, just know that you're not an Whatsapp user anymore; you are a Facebook customer now... do we have everyone's attention yet ?!?

If I were you, I would start by looking into how to opt-out from any Facebook-Whatsapp integration if you're given that choice; see if this is what is actually causing your PDF issues.

Since I update the office I cannot open pdf file from whatsapp. It says " try saving the file on device first " it worked perfectly before. Suddenly this started to happen. I even can't open pdf file with any other app too. From all other apps I can view pdf file but I have issue with only whatsapp pdf file. Is there anyway I can fix this
