Chapter bookmarks not working in iPhone Adobe Acrobat Reader

Hello,

I recently downloaded a pdf ebook onto my iPhone Adobe Acrobat Reader both through my adobe cloud and separately via local upload. Despite displaying the correct chapter bookmarks, both files were unable to open chapter bookmarks. In other words, when I click on a bookmark nothing happens and the file remains on the same page without changing to the correct page location corresponding to the selected chapter bookmark. Is there an easy fix for this? Perhaps this is related to file encryption? The ebook pdf was legally downloaded from the Springer website.

The chapter bookmarks work correctly when the file is open on my computer through Adobe Acrobat. They also work when I open the file through the Dropbox app on my iPhone. Seems to be an issue with the Adobe Reader app on my iPhone. However this problem is not happening with any other files.

May be there are no actions associated with the bookmarks.

Or maybe they're associated with a script, which doesn't work on mobile devices... Without seeing the file it's impossible to say for sure.
