Digital signature verification on mobile

Hello all,

Does anyone know how to verify digital signatures in pdf document on android mobile? I am opening the file in Acrobat reader mobile app.

Is there any way to do it without using laptop?

Hi Sarang.sharma,

There is no option to verify the digital signatures in the PDF on a mobile application.

The digital signatures do not work on the Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile application.

You will be able to view the signature on the PDF.

However, there is no option to add or verify the digital signature on the mobile device.

You will need the desktop version of the application in order to verify the signature.

Good. Couldn't see the signed version on acrobat mobile app. Tried from opening a verified pdf document from adobe cloud even it didn't show up the signature. Any idea how to read the signed version on mobile ?

Sorry about your experience.

With the mobile version, you can now sign using digital certificates. This option is available with the Acrobat Sign mobile application. 

However, validating digital signatures is available only on the desktop version of the application.

Can't I even read the signed version on mobile? I mean i verified the signature from web version and then I shared it on my phone and it shows signature not verified on phone even though I verified the signature on my laptop. Is there any way to open the signed version on mobile?

Hi @Gaurav332065830v1z,

Signature verification is a separate process from reading the document and it needs to be verified on different devices separately. 

Even though mobile devices cannot verify the signature, you should not have any issues reading the document. The pop-up for verification should have an icon to be closed.

If this is not what you see, please share a screen recording of the issue for better understanding and investigation.
