Doesnt show directories for sdcard under local tab

The reader only shows files on my device but does not show files on my card under the local tab. Though i can access them by clicking on floating red button and then following the path but it would be convenient if all the files appear as such without going to find them. It was fine before but i had to reinstall adobe reader and now facing this issue.
