As you have mentioned that you are unable to send PDFs and images from Whatsapp. To understand the issue with PDFs, we need few details.
1. Make and model your mobile device.
2. OS version?
3. Acrobat reader version?
4. Whatsapp version?
5. If possible, could you share some screenshots of the issue?
Kindly sign out from Acrobat reader restart the device and sign in again. Let us know if that works.
