How to recover deleted files?

Hello! Acrobat reader was linked to Google Drive, and in the application I deleted some files (I thought that they would only be deleted from Acrobat Reader) and they were deleted from all devices and from Google Drive. How it can be restored is very important....

    Hope you are doing well. Thank you for writing in!

     

    Acrobat Reader Mobile has two functionalities provided. One is "Remove from recent," which removes the file from your recent page, while the other is "delete." 

    What the delete feature does is delete the file from the source location.

     

    In this scenario, I suggest logging in to your Google Drive account from the web and checking if the file is available in the deleted section.

    If not, I fear the file must be re-sourced from the creator or the site you downloaded from.

    Hi there 

     

    Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

     

    Have you deleted the file that was saved on your device or was it saved on the Adobe cloud or any third party cloud storage? If it is saved on the Adobe cloud or the third party cloud storage, it will be good to check at these storage locations as suggested in the correct answer above.

     

    If the file was saved on the Adobe cloud, have you deleted it via the Acrobat app or from Adobe.com page?
    - If you have deledted the file via Acrobat App, that will permanentely removes the file from the system and there isn’t much that can be done to recover it. 

    -If the file was deleted from Adobe.com page, try the steps below and see if that heps:

    • Go to Adobe.com page
    • Click on the Files option in the left hand menu bar > Deleted and check if your deleted file appears there. If yes, click o n the three horizontal dots for the option to restore the file.
