How to share a folder using AirDrop from iOS device?

Is it possible to AirDrop a folder of PDFs (or PDFs in bulk) from iOS device (eg iPad) to Mac (MacBook, iMac- MacOS) rather than doing it individually?

AirDrop enables you to wirelessly share files from one Apple device to another, but sharing an entire file folder is something that would not be possible. It can be done individually.
