Microsoft Authenticator iOS issue

Hi, I downloaded acrobat on my device and attempted to connect to OneDrive through the storage accounts section. Instead of prompting me to sign into my Microsoft account it attempted to open my Microsoft Authenticator app. I can't get round this issue. All other storage locations prompt correctly. 

 

The account, device and Authenticator app are entirely personal with no MDM, MAM or Intune Policies. The only way around seems to be to delete the Auth app, which I'd rather avoid. 

If there is a solution, please do let me know, cheers

I hope you are doing well. I am sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

 

Do you have the One Drive application installed on your device? Acrobat Reader uses the OneDrive connector to get you access to OneDrive from within the application.

 

You can try the below steps:

  1. Install the OneDrive app on your device.
  2. In Acrobat Reader mobile, tap the Location Chooser.
  3. Tap More Locations
  4. You should see the OneDrive app listed. The OneDrive app installed on the device should appear in a window.

Hi. Yes, even with OneDrive installed for some reason attempting to sign into my Microsoft Account it tries to sign in through the Authenticator app rather than onedrive

It may have to do with the way your account access with authentication is set up.

I've looked into all this. The account in question has no MFA setup, and is a personal account (so no conditional access). 

it doesn't seem to be an account issue, rather than a clash between the acrobat and Authenticator apps.

Hi. It seems this is a universal issue not specific to Acrobat. I've tried it on a couple of devices now where certain apps just redirect to Authenticator as of a Work/School Microsoft Account is being used. 

so I guess I'll just leave it until Microsoft fix whatever the issue is
