My PDF files got deleted disappeared

I had to reboot erase put in default factory setting cause the Apps don't function on my iPhone. I downloaded the Adobe and signed in and all my files are gone. What do I do? Help me! Directions?

Make backups of the files.

Yes, or save the documents on Adobe Document Cloud.
