Printing problems from iPad

Icreated a Adobe PDF on the computer and emailed it to my iPad.  Pulled up the file through Adobe PDF Editor on the iPad and started to fill out the form.  Everything looked great, just like I wanted to look.  But, when I go to print it out everything that I printed is in a otally different font, and the letters are either to close togeter or to far apart (jumbled up).  I went back to the computer file and change fonts and font sizes, that did not work.  I tried changing fonts and font sizes on the iPad version as well and it did not work either.  I even noticed that the iPad version only offered 3 different fonts so I tried one of those and it still did not work.  Has anyone else ever experienced this before?  If so could you please help me!!!

Hello,

I hope you are doing well. I am sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

Are you experiencing this issue with a particular file or with all the files? You can try downloading fonts using Creative Cloud on your iPad, and the compatible fonts will also reflect in Acrobat Reader.

Also, thank you for sharing the file. I will check the same at my end to try and reproduce the issue and will get back to you with the findings.

Thanks,

Souvik.

You know how when you create an PDF that people can edit and when you pull it up it has the blue boxes to fill in?  That is where the issue is.  I finally tried deleting those boxes and just using the Text function through Adobe.  Everything works great, but now it just takes longer to fill a page because of all the steps you have to go through each time you type a comment.  You have to pick the font, then resize the font, then if it is not centered you have to move it to the right place.  With the blue boxes everything is already set.

@blewis API Hi,

It could be with the way the PDF is created. Can you check the properties of the PDF form and share a screenshot of it?

Also, a sample form would be great to try and reproduce the issue at our end.

Thanks,

Souvik.
