Select only one word when press on iPad

On iPad: Is it possible to select only a single word when press? Currently a random number of words before or after that word are selected.

Hi Tttong,

Yes, it is possible to select a single word from the text in the PDF.

If you long press on a particular word, only that word gets selected.

If you are not able to select the word in that way, you may drag the selection to the single word or character from the selected text.

Take help of the steps mentioned under "Selecting text" in the following help document Adobe Reader Help for iOS: Annotating Pages.

Thanks! I knew that, but it selects more than one word most of the time.

Hey there, I'm experiencing this issue with a pdf of a book called "An Introduction to Statistical Learning" when selecting one word it selects a random sentence, it works fine with other pdfs, Im using the latest version of the app, is there a way to fix it in 2021?
