After downloading a pdf manual using Safari on an iPad, I asked to open pdf in Adobe. Adobe allowed the pdf to be viewed just fine. However, any attempt to rename the file would result in an error. The delete option never displayed as an option, both rename and delete attempts were done using the three dots next to the file in Adobe. When the file opened in Adobe, it was only indicated in the Adobe Home Screen in the recent option, not on the Adobe file option. Using the Adobe recent option, I was able to select and delete the file.
Normally, pdf files downloaded using Safari and opened in Adobe get assigned a file name that allows renaming and keeping in Adobe. This is the first time I have ever seen this situation.

I hope you're doing well. Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you please let us know the OS version of your iPad and the Acrobat Reader Mobile application you're using? Sometimes, updating both the iPad OS and the Acrobat Reader app from the App Store can resolve issues. After updating, please try restarting your device and see if that helps.
If the issue persists, could you kindly share a short video recording of the steps you're taking and the issue you're experiencing? This will help us investigate further.
Regards
Amal

Due to security concerns, a video of my iPad would be impossible. If you are unable to duplicate the problem with the provided link and information provided, I can only hope that a future version will fix this bug.
