Is it possible to download reader on my ipad with iOS 9?

I used to have reader on my iPad but since being out of school i deleted it. Now when trying to download it, it says its not compatible. Its not giving me the option to download an older version. I have iOS 9.3.5

Apparently you can do this with iTunes if you already downloaded on the same account (but absolutely not otherwise). Or so you used to be able to do, I heard Apple removed all app support from iTunes.

Certainly, Adobe can't give you an old version or put it anywhere else for download. That's Apple's rules, almost as if they are designed to sell new devices...
