I purchased ADOBE DC and I can not edit an X out of the document after I place it in the document and save it. I need to send y document out for review and then it is sent back for me to make changes. I have contacted ADOBE about this.here is there response.I think it is insane you cannot even remove an X mark that was placed in with the ADOBE software. If this is correct WHY have a editing software program.

Hi John,
Thank you for contacting Adobe.
This is to inform you that the information that you fill out with the fill and sign feature, it flattens that area of the document and makes it non editable.
Thanks &

We need more information about how that "x" ended up in your document. Here is a (incomplete) list of ways to add content to a PDF document, and every single one of these methods adds a different type of content, which in turn requires a different method to remove it again:
- static PDF content
- form field of type text
- form field of type checkbox
- form field of type radio button
- text annotation
- text box annotation
- stamp annotation
- watermark
- header/footer
- generic PDF layer
- image
- vector drawing
Unless you can tell us how that 'x' ended up on your scanned document, we cannot help you.
