Cannot register typelibrary for file C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\acrobat.tlb

When installing the new version of acrobat DC we get the error message Cannot register typelibrary for file C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\acrobat.tlb. How can we solve this?

If the issue still persist, would request you to please install the program on different user account with admin rights to replicate the issue.

Hello YatharthS

My OS version is W2008R2.

I've uninstalled the windows update thats mentioned in the article and now the installation goes further then before but then i get an error: An Invalid serial number was provided.

Does this sound familiar?
