Converting all files to pdf/ photoshop file/acrobat and making them editable

Hello,

I will be starting a small business where customers will upload files which i need to then edit. I would like to allow customers to upload any file type so that i may then convert it into a PDF or any acrobat file/ illustrator file etc. so that I can edit it.

Is this possible?

If so, which adobe software would allow me to do this? will it be illustrator or photoshop or any other?

TIA

There is no single solution and PDF is a very unhelpful choice for editing. You need ro be exact and specific. Slow people to upload files made with particular software WHICH YOU OWN. Edit in the original software. You may need the exact version.

When the editing is FINISHED make a PDF, not before.

There isn't any "kind of Software". only the right software. If someone sends you a Word document you need Word. If someone sends you an Illustrator document you need Illustrator. on the other hand if someone sends you an image file (eg JPEG PNG BMP) you can use Photoshop for them.

i suggest you consider exactly what kinds of file you want to handle and describe the kind of editing you want.
