I couldn't find anything on a web search or in the Preferences, but I hope there's a solution to this: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC pops to the foreground if you drag over it on Windows. For example, let's say you want to drag a file from an Explorer window to an e-mail. If the mouse passes over any part of the Reader window during the drag, Reader suddenly becomes the foreground app is if I had dropped on that app. It doesn't actually trigger the Drop action (I'm still holding the dragged item and can drop it elsewhere), but by popping to the foreground, Reader often covers up the other windows I'm trying to use.
This is really poor behavior and not playing well with others. This seems to be a universal behavior, at least it occurs on all of my systems.
Is there a way to stop it from doing this? Frankly, I can't think of any reason why I'd want to drag and drop onto Reader anyway, so even if the only solution is to just completely disable all drag-and-drop support, that would be fine.
Thanks for any help!
